Dagwood Country Radio's weekly "Featured CD's" are selected for their overall excellence. Not because of one or two great tracks but because as a whole they are excellent CD's that deserve to be heard. This also gives you a chance to make an informed purchasing decision.
Below you can listen to samples of the tracks.
If that is not enough to convince you to purchase this CD, tune into Dagwood Country Radio we will be playing a different track from the CD approximately every 70 minutes this week. Or, can't wait to hear the full track? Click on the "Song Request" link and request the song you'd like to hear. It will be automatically inserted into the broadcast streams line-up.
"Coming Home" is Lonestar's 6th studio album to date and it's another quality gem. I was ready not to like this CD. I was a little bummed that they chose as the first single to cover a song originally released by Emerson Drive only a year earlier. And there is very little to choose between the two versions. Getting past that though, this is an excellent CD and worthy of being our featured CD of the week. There are no surprises here. The boys don't stray far from the sound that has made them a success. The harmonies are impeccable and there is the now seemingly requisite song about family, "What's Wrong With That". I'd be very surprised if this wasn't selected as a Single in the future. If you've liked Lonestar in the past, "Coming Home" won't disappoint.
